Peace in Progress

Ello

Here's something I'm working on in my art class in school :) Its based on the work of Peter Max aka really hippie stuff... in case you couldn't tell :P He was actually in DC recently sooo I just missed him but that would have been REALLY cool if I did see him!! Here's just my sketch of what I carved on a tile. I'm still working on it but the kiln doctor hasn't come yet soooo hopefully my tile will get fired soon!!

Peace Out

this isn't japan!!

Soo in case you couldn't tell by earlier posts or me just rambling on about my summer, this past summer I went to an art program. I took a wearable arts class and one of our assignments was to make a kimono from scratch..but ACTUALLY!! We bought clean white fabric, dyed it ourselves cut out the main pattern of the kimono, designed exactly what we wanted it to look like and sewed it ALL together!! This took about a week because my dyes couldn't exactly get right BUT here it is FINISHED!!!

Its not for EVERYONE

Hey!

So im my art class we had to copy a famous collage artist aka we choose Barbara Kruger. That meant that we had to have a message to our audience. Mine started out as a no smoking collage but i decided that smoking is really a choice even though its not my decisions, its theres. So i decided to do this. from the collage my class also made bumper stickers. Hope you like it!

Adios
Danni

PS I am going to make extra bumper stickers, so if anyone wants any send me a message :)

Soo at the top, there was this shirt..and I ALREADY cut it up
if you couldn't tell. So then ACTUALLy my sister thought it
would look really cool as a skirt soo thats exactamento what
I did!! The shirt at the bottom actually used to be bright
neon yellow but then I dyed it and now it's brown and red!!
Hope that didn't COMPLETELY blow your mine :D
adios muchachos

boring shirt..NEVER!!

Hey artsy fartsy people!!!
Sorry i haven't posted anything for sooooooooooooooooooo
long but I HAVE been working on stuff..my computor sorta kinda broke :( soo this WHOLE project started out by I REALLY had to make something for my friends birthday soo i got surprisingly creative!! I took this ordinary boring shirt that my grade made a couple of years ago..that im probably never going to wear again..(sorry whoever made these) and turned it into a bag!! I then made my own silk screen and spray painted her name onto the bag (it says robyn btw juust the picture isn't that good)
ENJOY!! :D
PS if you want instructions on how to turn BORING shirts into fun bags..I could give you my secret recipe :)
