So last semester I took a general sort of sewing class. I had this project to create a toddler dress. I did do this during the winter because I was so ready for spring as you can tell by the pattern :p This is before my pattern making class so I did not do the pattern but still looks pretty good if I do say so myself :p Hope you guys like it :)

Rock n Roll will Fill your Soul

Ello Everyone!

So as you might be following my blog or not..Photoshop has never really been my friend. Actually recently I have been taking some CAD classes and no computer has exploded..yay :p So our assignment was to create a mood board for a potential collection. I decided to go back to my rock and roll roots and came up with this creation. I'm still trying to get all the shortcuts and all the tools but this is my first sort of piece! enjoy :D

So in my fashion class last semester our final project was to make a mens shirt. This is not as easy as it sounds. Of course guys have completely different proportions to what kind of clothes I am used to making. Also if you carefully look at the stitching on a men shirt it is actually sort of intricate depending on the shirt. So I actually made mine for my dad..it was around the holiday season so why no? :p So I wanted to surprise him...and he DEFINITELY was :p So as I presented this shirt I mentioned that it would be a little small. He asked if i could just buy a smaller size for him. At first I was kind of shocked and then

realized he thought I actually bought this shirt for him not made it myself. I just laughed and took this as a huge compliment!! So here it is..enjoy ^_^

Bare to the bone

Ello everybody :)

So I took a figure drawing class last semester and these are just some of the pictures I drew. I used charcoal and conte. This is only the 2nd figure drawing class I have taken so hope u like them :D

Hiya :D

So as might get or not get by now I am in fashion design. This means millions of hours in the sewing lab working on projects!! Thats a good and bad thing :p One of the first project I really ACTUALLY got to work on myself was I made toddler shorts and a shirt ot match :D Toddler clothing in a way is easier because less fabric to deal with but at the same time that means it is smaller and the stitiching counts very much!! The shorts are very cute and even have pockets in the front!! The shirt is a knit so this means it stretches and its a lot harder to sew together. Thanks :D

Midterminator :p

Hey all u blog checkers out there :)

Here's actually my midterm work for my Fashion Figure Drawing class :D We had to make 5 different collections with 5 different types of mediums. I only have my three best ones but u get the picture..haha no pun intended..haha :p So my first collection is actually a ready to wear for the punk rocker sort of girl. I used marker and colored pencil mostly. My second collection is n evening wear also marker and colored pencil. The top of the dress is actually sheer so I thought that was a nice little trendy touch :p My third is actually a bridal wear which my class actually loved the most. Instead of the usual white i decided to switch it up and use more of a peachy sort color for the gowns. I used colored pencil and water color :)

Skirt Steak

Ello :)

So in case you didnt know my major is Fashion Design. This semester in school I am ACTUALLY taking classes that have to do with my major..crazy i know :p So our first actualy project was to create a basic skirt. sounds easy right..? well not really..there is still the lining, a zipper, waistband and we had to do a different seam to sew the whole thing together. Phew..so it took a little longer then expected :p So far its just made out of boring cotton aka muslin but my goal is to hem it a little sorter and dye it so i can ACTUALLY wear it :p
