History Lesson

Heeyo,

So yaaa, you think it's summer and you shouldn't learn HISTORY?!?! but hey dont worry its the history of me and theres no test!! So as you may know I LOVE cutting up my clothes and recycling them and in my opinion making them WAY better. So this is the FIRST thing I EVER cut up. It was in 7th grade so obviously its not THAT good but hey its a start!! I decided that this ordinary Coke shirt have some more style then just a boring long sleeved shirt. So I decided to cut it up and that's how over the years I started designing my clothes to look a little more exciting!!

Bags of GLORY

Hola

So if you didn't know by now then I graduated in February and have been working at the Shakespheare Theater Company in the Costume Department. When all of the Voluteers/Interns start they give them a project to start out aka the bag. It covers the basic things you need to know for costuming, like putting in a zippers, pleats or even elastic. So that exactly what this bag is!! I decided to give it my own flair and dye it peachy and then splatter paint it :)

Justice OVER Fashion

Heyo,

I guess being the steryotypical teenager, yes, I read Seventeen Magazine. So over time you get TONS of the magazine and have NO idea what to do with it. So I decided to create a collage!! I also used one or two images from the internet but mostly from Seventeen. My materials are a t-shirt, glue and different pictures. Although the fashion industry is glamourous and we mostly see that sort of lifestyle in the media, I really wanted to show another side to all that fame and fortune. I mostly made it with one basic message but because its art its really up to your own interpretation :) Hope you like it!

Gleaners or Footballers..now THAT is the question

So back in my art history class our final assignment was to do something creative with some sort of artwork. I decided to take an original painting and turn it into something modern. I took the paint The Gleaners By Millet and instead turned it into football players about to start the game. I painted it myself on Microsoft ArtRage. The first picture is the original painting and the bottom one is my modernization of it :)

Surfs up!
Hey so I went to the beach a while ago and ended up staring at the clouds because they were sooo beautiful so I decided to take this really cool shot! Yesm its my own photgraphy :) What I really love about this picture is that there is some contrast between the ocean and the sky but not that much. Also of course the clouds are beautiful too :)
