NOT exploding a mac!!!

As people may know or not I am in israel right now and I am doing a digital art and media workshop. Aka that's also why I haven't been posting as much as I usually do :/ . A while ago in the workshop we got some lesson in Photoshop and unlike the jimmy eat world band poster (first post in ma blog) I actually DIDNT blow up the computor!!! Our assignment was to create a collage with different pictures...these aren't my pictures all the credit goes to Ran Greiss but I just collaged them on Photoshop.

orange you glad....?

Hiya,

Sorry it's been so long..its been a CRAZY 2 months!! This is something I made right before I left for Israel. When I was back at the Shakespheare Theater they were putting on The Merchant of Venice so I ended up making lots of kippot. This was one of the kippas I messed up on so I decided to give it to my dad..why not :p His favorite juice is orange juice...(yes there are lots of jokes you can make) but i decided to puffy paint an orange onto it. I made this from scratch, from a pattern and then decorated it.

Haha so yes that's basically how I created this design. The Banana phone song was stuck in my head and I thought it would be pretty cool on a t-shirt. So heres an ACTUAL design I made and printed on a t-shirt.

PS I am going away for about 9 months to a year so I don't know how much I will be able to update my blog :/

Soooo I FINALLY finished this shirt!! I have been working on it for soo long and here it is!! I took an old shirt that didn't fit me anymore and redid it a little. I turned it into a halter shirt!! I cut off the sleeves and put elastic in the back and a piece of an old shirt in the back for the tie. Phew..im done!!

Vests AWAY!!

Hey!!

Arrrrr en't you glad its summer? hehe yes I had to make that joke!! :P So as you may know I have been volunteering/interning at the Shakespheare Theater. As well as working on the projects and things to do around the Costume Shop, I started this project. Basically I'm making a pirate!!! and this is the vest that he is going to wear. I took a basic pattern of an already made pirate vest redesigned it based on what I wanted and the measurements of my pirate. So that I made it my own!! This little vest actually took WAY longer than what I thought. It's little so you think it would be easier..WRONG!!! It was actually a lot harder because some of it is too little to do by machine so you have to do by hand. Sorry the pictures are a little blurry but if you can see theres also interfacing in the vest aka inside is black and outside is blue to put it bluntly :P For a regular vest you would probably do it by machine and it wouldn't be a problem but because this was my creation then it had to keep making it and sewing a bunch of it by hand. phew so it took longer but its FINALLY done!! Sorry I ended up writing WAY more then I thought..haha hope I didn't bore you too much!!

History Lesson

Heeyo,

So yaaa, you think it's summer and you shouldn't learn HISTORY?!?! but hey dont worry its the history of me and theres no test!! So as you may know I LOVE cutting up my clothes and recycling them and in my opinion making them WAY better. So this is the FIRST thing I EVER cut up. It was in 7th grade so obviously its not THAT good but hey its a start!! I decided that this ordinary Coke shirt have some more style then just a boring long sleeved shirt. So I decided to cut it up and that's how over the years I started designing my clothes to look a little more exciting!!
