ACTIONS speak louder than WORDS

 REVOLT!!

Hiya
Soo ima in artsy fartsy school and this is a narrative project we had to do. We had to have 3 panels that had to have a story that flowed from 1 panel to the other. I of course being the hippie that i am, I did the theme of revolution/Beatles/taking action. I was inspired by Peter Max and kinda by a project i have done before aka the Peter Max tile that if you REALLY want, you can look back at my art to see it :p So my first panel is mostly newspaper clipping showing people wanting to take action but aren't  The second I used micro pens and acrylic paint and it shows people talking action. The third shows actions happening with just acylic paint. As the narrative goes on I made the colors get brighter or go from black and white to color. Of course this is art so it can be interpreted anyway you want but I kinda tried to make the color coming out of the mouth like the actions going into the hand that is making the action happen. Hope u like it :D

you say you want a revolution :p

CRAZY bones!!

Herrow,

So this is also one of the first projects I have done. We had to take an everyday object, draw it in an interesting way and then paint it 4 different ways. So being a hippie or in fashion design I LOVE rings!!!!!! so of course I used a ring. The first one of the left, we had to paint 5 or 6 in dark tones. The panel underneath it we had to experiment with micro pens so I did all kinds of different patterns. The middle panel we had to use another medium so made the background part of a cross word puzzle. The right panel I used all gray tones. The last panel i just used all the tones from dark to light. Phew...it took a while but not bad for someone first working with paint, tones and all kind of mediums. The cool thing is someone said it kinda looks like bones. Hope the picture is big enough to see the details :)

prettty CRAZY I know,

I "C" you

Hiya

So yupp now after my long gap year im in artsy farts school :D Here is one of the first projects I did for my design class. We had to take a letter from the alphabet and make different kinds of symmetrical patterns with it. Yupp I choose the letter C.. how did you guess?!? wow....crazy :p So yupp this project is hours of cutting out the letter C. Not to brag or anything but I WAS voted the more fun designs in the class...no big deal :p

finders keepers

Hey!!
WOW..I havn't posted in so long :/
but dont worry I will try to post twice this month just to make up for it :p
So I was wondering around Whole Foods and found this lonely produce carton and realized it would be GREAT to have as a jewelry holder :D Course you can probably turn it into lotsa different stuff like a key holder, fruit basket, hold your lunch, hat...? lots of stuff :p Basically I just colored it with sharpie but you can do almost anything to it..glue stuff onto it or even paint it :)

Have fun

Herrow ^_^

Mkay soo between my 2 jobs I have BARELY had time to make any art :/ So I have been making lots of DIY or do it yourself projects!! This project is REAL easy and you can find everything in you local arts and crafts store..aka Michaels AC Moore and lots more..I started out just making these for peoples birthdays but they are ACTUALLY easy, cheap, personal and useful ..what could be bad about that?!? :p So all you need is a glass holder a candle to put in it and puffy paint..yupp thats it ^_^

make ART not WAR!!

Hey!!

Here's my sister modeling my new Spring Collection :p In case you have been following my blog..yes.. this isn't TECHNICALLY a new design but I have started making these designs a NEW way!! It's actually pretty basic...I just use fabric markers and an iron to make sure the design stays on the shirt. This way it is DEFINATLY hand-made :p but hey it isn't expensive like the silk screening...so why not?!? :p If you want to order a shirt just leave a comment on this post and I'll try to get back to you ASAP!! The shirt is only about $10-$20 depending on how much the actual shirt costs..

TLV Fashion Week

Heyo, So I am FINALLY back home from Israel. In Israel I had an AMAZING internship with Ishtar Fashion House. I worked with Tamar Primak the fashion designer. I would pick out and sew on the clothing buttons, pin together garments for the fashion designer to sew later, organized the studio for the designer as well as for clients, researched for the next collection. I EVEN helped out during Tel Aviv Fashion Week backstage with the models and keeping backstage organized as well as setting up for the runway show and helping with potential clients. It was an AMAZING experience it was also the first time I was at a REAL runway show. Here's some pictures..enjoy :D The first is the big packet each designer/guest got at the fashion show it had all the designers who were in the show in it and tons of ads. The second picture is from backstage it was so crazy and hectic with all the models running around and the designers making sure everything went out perfectly to the runway for the audience to see. The third is a picture of the runway before the show.
