Hiya :D

So as might get or not get by now I am in fashion design. This means millions of hours in the sewing lab working on projects!! Thats a good and bad thing :p One of the first project I really ACTUALLY got to work on myself was I made toddler shorts and a shirt ot match :D Toddler clothing in a way is easier because less fabric to deal with but at the same time that means it is smaller and the stitiching counts very much!! The shorts are very cute and even have pockets in the front!! The shirt is a knit so this means it stretches and its a lot harder to sew together. Thanks :D

Midterminator :p

Hey all u blog checkers out there :)

Here's actually my midterm work for my Fashion Figure Drawing class :D We had to make 5 different collections with 5 different types of mediums. I only have my three best ones but u get the picture..haha no pun intended..haha :p So my first collection is actually a ready to wear for the punk rocker sort of girl. I used marker and colored pencil mostly. My second collection is n evening wear also marker and colored pencil. The top of the dress is actually sheer so I thought that was a nice little trendy touch :p My third is actually a bridal wear which my class actually loved the most. Instead of the usual white i decided to switch it up and use more of a peachy sort color for the gowns. I used colored pencil and water color :)

Skirt Steak

Ello :)

So in case you didnt know my major is Fashion Design. This semester in school I am ACTUALLY taking classes that have to do with my major..crazy i know :p So our first actualy project was to create a basic skirt. sounds easy right..? well not really..there is still the lining, a zipper, waistband and we had to do a different seam to sew the whole thing together. Phew..so it took a little longer then expected :p So far its just made out of boring cotton aka muslin but my goal is to hem it a little sorter and dye it so i can ACTUALLY wear it :p

So over the summer my temple came to me and asked me to design something for the new members of the congregation. Im not going to lie...thats kind of a big deal :p They wanted something welcoming and that had a good meaning. I started off with a basic sketch then just used micro pens. I havnt been able to see the final product but heres my final

Tape-stry

Hey!!

So course I been home a lot recently so I been doing a lot of tiny projects. Either things I found on the internet or just my creative juices in my brain. This one is actually really cool that I found online (sorry lazy summer problems :p). You take canvas, put tape over it and just paint around. So I just decided to get these tiny canvases so all together they make this one abstract painting of sort. Hope you like it ^_^

Cork Dork

Hiya!!

So in case you didnt know..I collect corks. I'm that weirdo at parties that go around collecting corks from wine bottles to make art projects. So here's just one of the projects I have done with cork. I decided my sister needed to remember me somehow so for her graduation I made her a corkboard. I basically took a picture frame and just hot glued corks to it. Pretty easy but fun to make :D

All about me

Hey internet peoples,

So in my figure drawing class we were suppose to make a full scale self portrait  I am kinda short so this is ACTUALLY a little bigger than me :p I went a little crazy and decided to make this part collage, part painting and multi-media. Every single little thing in this has a meaning. Like my hair is in a bun because I always wear it like that and they are little sticks. They represent that I love nature and they are  almost growing out of me, like a tree!!

I don't really post a lot of my charcoal drawings so I decided to switch it up and post one :p I made it in my drawing class, the teacher actually set up toilet paper and some boxes. Never thought of toilet paper as art but hey, you never know, its art. I just used charcoal and paper.

Ello,

So in case you couldn't tell..im not a sculptor. Wood, metal and clay are DEF not my medium :p So for my design class we had to make a 3D sculptor of a transformation. Course because my major is fashion design I choose a dress transforming into a spider web. I made it out of foam-core aka paper and styrofoam together so its REAL hard to cut :p Hope you like it :D

Octopus Garden

Howdy!!

This is actually the FIRST time i have EVER used oil paints. I actually made this with 3 other people but I made the big tree in the middle and the blending of colors on the sides. The cool thing is at ma artsy fartsy school we had sort of like a coffee shop set up and we were the artists. We all just felt inspired by the atmosphere and just painted our hearts out. All the artists of this picture were talking and what people painted actually really describes each person...like my one friends is very organized and what he painted looked very clean and neat. Thats my fun fact :p Hehe..hope you like it :D
